Job Overview

At Scalvy, we build intelligent, modular power systems for Data Centers and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), combining power electronics, embedded systems, and software into scalable solutions for critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate power electronics hardware and circuits
• Support schematic capture, PCB design, prototyping, and hardware testing
• Collaborate with embedded, systems, and software teams for seamless integration
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware issues during development and validation phases
• Contribute to system reliability, thermal performance, EMI/EMC considerations, and optimization activities
• Assist with component selection, technical documentation, and product validation

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Basic to advanced knowledge of power electronics, control systems, or BESS technologies
• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle
• Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design
• Understanding of EMI/EMC design and testing principles
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and hands-on engineering skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of embedded hardware integration and communication protocols
• Experience with lab equipment, hardware validation, and testing processes
• Exposure to thermal analysis and simulation for power electronics systems
