Job Overview
At Scalvy, we’re reimagining power management through modular, intelligent systems powering data centers, energy storage platforms (BESS), and electric mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software for real-time and high-performance systems
- Design, implement, and optimize firmware using C/C++
- Work closely with hardware and system teams to integrate embedded solutions
- Debug and troubleshoot across firmware, hardware, and communication interfaces
- Contribute to system architecture, testing, and validation activities
- Support the development of scalable and reliable embedded platforms
Requirements
- A degree in Engineering is required
- Priority given to graduates of Computer & Systems Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
What We're Looking For
- Committed, you show up, you follow through, you own your work
- Eager to learn, you're genuinely hungry, not just saying it in an interview
- Design-minded, you think beyond the MCU. You care about abstraction, clean layers, and code that doesn't collapse when the hardware changes
- SOLID principles, you know why they exist and you want to apply them, not just recite them
- We're looking for someone who has actually gotten their hands dirty. This doesn't have to be professional experience. Projects, thesis work, freelance, or personal builds all count.
→ Solid command of C you write clean, efficient, hardware-aware C code and you know why it matters at this level
→ Written or worked with device drivers, you know what it takes to talk to hardware
→ Worked across different MCU families, you're not married to one architecture
→ Knows their communication protocols and more importantly, knows when to use which. SPI vs I2C vs UART vs CAN isn't just trivia to you, it's a real design decision
What We Offer
- Strong learning and mentorship environment
- Collaborative and fast-paced engineering culture
- Competitive compensation and benefits
